Originally produced as an extra for The Dark Knight home video release previously, Warner Bros. has been bringing out some of these extended documentary pieces to stream as part of their “At Home” program to provide things to entice people to watch while in quarantine mode. This one, clocking in at an hour, looks at the history of the Batmobile across film and comics and interacts with a good number of creative.

Of course, there are complaints that it ignores the last eight years of incarnations, but the documentary was produced BEFORE the more recent films and comics. It’s a good historical piece and covers lot of neat aspects of the history of Batman and the Batmobile itself.

Property Concept: Discover the history of the iconic Batmobile from the early comics to the animated series and everything in between. Notable Batman movie directors including Chris Nolan, Joel Schumacher, and Tim Burton, as well as actors Christian Bale from “The Dark Knight” and Adam West from the 1960s Batman series, discuss the evolution of the Dark Knight’s eponymous automobile.
