The Holy Grail War continues, with each Master and Servant duo making their move for the omnipotent wish granter!

Aniplex USA is putting together a pretty good release to get 2020 moving in the right direction as they have the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works standard edition Blu-ray release scheduled. The Blu-ray box set is priced at $239.98, or $189.98 sale price, set for a July 14th, 2020 debut. This comes after Aniplex Japan brought out the set there for 28,000 yen with a January 22nd, 2020 debut. It’ll be an eight-disc set when it lands that will have the full twenty-six episode run. Extras include the trailers, TV spots, commercials, promos, the special OVA, and the clean versions of the opening and closing sequences. The set will also come with a mini-booklet.

Check out our review of the series.

The series premiered in October 2014 and with animation production by ufotable, who produced Fate/Zero and the Garden of sinners. Based on TYPE-MOON’s visual novel Fate/stay night featuring an original story by Kinoko Nasu and original character design by Takashi Takeuchi, the series is directed by Takahiro Miura (Today’s MENU for EMIYA Family) with music by Hideyuki Fukasawa (Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot) and character design by Tomonori Sudo (Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]), Hisayuki Tabata (Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]), and Atsushi Ikariya (Fate/Zero).

The Japanese cast includes Noriaki Sugiyama (Naruto Shippuden, Katsugeki TOUKEN RANBU) as Shirou Emiya, Kana Ueda (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, Black Clover) as Rin Tohsaka, Ayako Kawasumi (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Samurai Champloo) as Saber, Junichi Suwabe (Sword Art Online Alicization, Yuri!! On ICE) as Archer, and Joji Nakata (Hellsing Ultimate, PERSONA5 the Animation), as Kirei Kotomine.

The English dub cast stars Bryce Papenbrook (Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), Mela Lee (Fate/Zero, DURARARA!!), Kaiji Tang (KILL la KILL, anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day), Kari Wahlgren (Fate/Zero, DURARARA!!), and Crispin Freeman (God Eater, DURARARA!!) with veteran English Voice Director and ADR Script Writer, Tony Oliver (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]).

Plot concept: Fuyuki City will be changed forever following the events that will come to be known as the Fifth Holy Grail War. With the Masters and Servants slowly revealing themselves and their intentions, the stage is set for the grand finale, and at the center of it all is Shirou Emiya and Rin Tohsaka.

The Holy Grail War continues, with each Master and Servant duo making their move for the omnipotent wish granter. Caster’s plans have been set in motion, beginning with taking Saber captive while Rin and Archer go their separate ways to continue their fights on their own. Without Saber’s aid, Shirou’s principles are put to the ultimate test. With many battles to come with expected and unexpected enemies, Shirou’s resolve begins to take form. Is his desire to protect people and become a hero, genuine? Or are they simply borrowed feelings? And will it be enough to carry him to the end?
