While we saw last year the pickup by Seven Seas of the manga of Take’s Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! work, early February 2020 revealed an anime adaptation coming up for it. Scheduled for a July 2020 TV debut – still, we now have the second promotional video for the show which reveals some additional casting with Yosuke Akimoto as Master. We had gotten a good bit of detail on it when it was announced with Kazuya Miura directing it based on the scripts overseen by Takashi Aoshima. Manabu Kurihara is handling the character designs with ENGI handling the animation production.
Check out the new key visual below the video as well.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Naomi Ōzora as Hana Uzaki
- Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai
- Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai
- Tomoya Takagi as Itsuhito Sakaki
The property by Take is serialized in Dragon Age magazine and began in 2017 and it has four volumes out so far in Japan.
Plot Concept: Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
