The spring 2020 anime adaptation of the light novel series Hachinantte Sore wa Inai Deshō! is getting its home video releases handled by Kadokawa. The distributor has opted for a box set release for this series and has scheduled it for August 26th, 2020. Priced at 24,000 yen, it’ll include the full twelve-episode run spread across two discs and we now have a look at the full spread of packaging for it, albeit with a few SAMPLEs spread across it. It’ll come with a short no novel story and original soundtrack CD. On-disc extras include the clean opening and closing as well as promos and commercials.
Tatsuo Miura directed it with Takeshi Miyamoto handling the series composition. Fuzichoco served as the original character designer with Keiji Tanabe adapting them and animation production handled by Shinei Animation and Synergy SP.
The Japanese cast includes Junya Enoki as Wendelin and Asuka Nishi as Eliz, Yuuna Mimura as Louise, Mikako Komatsu as Iina, and M.A.O as Vilma. Additional casting includes Hiro Shimono as Erwin von Alnim, Tomohito Takatsuka as Roderich, Shizuka Ishigami as Wendelin (young), Tomokazu Sugita as Kurt, Yukana as Amalie, Daisuke Namikawa as Alfred, Yūsaku Yara as Brantack Lyngstad, and Masashi Yamane as Klimt Kristoff von Armstrong.
The series comes from writer Y.A. and artist Fuzichoco which began in 2013 and wrapped up in 2017 through the online side while print editions began in 2015 and will have fifteen volumes out as of this December 2018. A manga began in 2015 as well with Hiroki Kusumoto handling that which has five volumes out so far.
Plot Concept: Shingo Ichinomiya, a 25-year-old man working at a firm company, while thinking of tomorrow’s busy working day, goes to sleep. However, when he woke up, he found himself in a room unknown to him and realized that he is inside a 6-years-old body, taking over his body and mind. He soon learns from the memories of the boy that the boy was born as the youngest child of a poor noble family living in a back country. Having no administrative skill, he can’t do anything to manage the vast land his family has. Fortunately, he is blessed with a very rare talent, the talent of magic. Unfortunately, while his talent could bring prosperity to his family, in his situation it only brought disaster. This is the story of the boy, Wendelin Von Benno Baumeister, opening his own path in a harsh world.
