The winter 2020 anime adaptation of the light novel series Housekisho Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei, aka The Case Files of Jeweler Richard, is getting its home video releases handled by Avex Pictures. They’ve set a four-volume release for the twelve-episode series which began on March 27th, 2020. We’ve now got a look at the packaging for the second volume which came out on April 24th, 2020, giving us a better look at the set overall than just the cover we had before. The DVDs are priced at 7,480 yen each while the Blu-rays are priced at 8,580 yen each. Check the full schedule below!
Tarou Iwasaki is directing based on the scripts by Mariko Kunisawa. Natsuko Kondou is serving as the chief animation director and character designer with Shuka handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Takahiro Sakurai as Richard Ranashinha Dvorpian, Yūma Uchida as Seigi Nakata, Kana Hanazawa as Akiko Tanimoto, and Yūichi Iguchi as Haruyoshi Shimomura.
The light novel series comes from writer Nanako Tsujimura which began in 2015 and will have nine volumes out as of this month.

Plot Concept: The story centers on a beautiful British jeweler Richard Ranasinghe Dvorpian and a Japanese university student with a bright and sincere personality, Seigi Tanaka. The two solve various cases related to jewels by finding out the mysteries hidden inside of their owners.
