The winter 2020 anime series Pet is getting its home video release handled by VAP And they’ve opted for the box set route. The thirteen-episode series was scheduled for an April 15th, 2020 debut where it’ll be priced at 26,000 yen. Recently, it was bumped back to a May 20th, 2020 release date and a sketch of what the package for it will look like was released. We’ve had a few pieces overall of what it will look like but now we’ve got the finalized full-color pieces showing off the set. Check ’em out below!
It’ll be spread across two discs in its original Japanese language only and pack-in material include a booklet and a tribute end card. On-disc extras include a cast commentary, clean opening, clean closing, promos, and some interview material.
It was directed by Takahiro Omori based on the series composition by Sadayuki Murai. Geno Studio handled the animation for the production. The show was broadcast in Japan with its streaming handled by Amazon Prime Video both in Japan and worldwide.
The Japanese cast includes Keisuke Ueda as Hiroki, Kishō Taniyama as Tsukasa, Yuuki Ono as Satoru, Yasuyuki Kase as Hayashi, Shunsuke Sakuya as Katsuragi, M.A.O as Jin, Koji Yusa as Ron, and Nobuo Tobita as company president.
The manga by Ranjou Miyake had five volumes released for it in a Remaster Edition back in 2009.

Plot Concept: The story follows a group of psychic individuals that have the ability to telepathically infiltrate the minds of other people and to manipulate their memories. This ability is often used for shady business, such as hiding the evidence of crimes such as assassination, and it corrupts the hearts of those who wield it. The people who practice this fearful ability are known as “pets”, a term of loathing and contempt.
