Viz Media long had their series Bleach running on Netflix and they had a removal for it back in 2018 that didn’t last too long but was done in an interesting way. When the show returned relatively quickly, they only added small seasonal arcs at a time. That’s continuing as the service has now added two more with story arcs for The Bount and The Assault, which make up episodes 64 through 109. With the new series in the works this definitely makes it easy to get into it with chunks at a time.
Originally beginning its run in 2004 and finishing in 2012, the series was picked up by Viz Media and released on DVD over the years and is currently getting new Blu-ray releases as well in North America.
The series saw Noriyuki Abe as the overall director with several episode directors and scriptwriters working on it based on the manga by Tite Kubo. It was animated by studio Pierrot.
