2nd ‘Gundam Build Divers Re: Rise’ Anime Season Gets Extended Behind The Scenes Making-Of Video

The next series in the franchise is Gundam Build Divers Re: Rise, which is building off the 2018 Divers series, arrived with an October 10th, 2019 debut in Japan. With the second season set to arrive with an April 9th, 2020 debut on the official Gundam YouTube channel, the official channel has dropped a new 15-minute making-of piece. This one takes us into the creation and behind the scenes material that’s really great to see in the studios with the phases of production that aspiring animators love to see and just those that like to see how the sausage is made.

The series will get satellite and TV broadcast as well on April 11th and April 28th.  Shinya Watada directing it based on the scripts by Yasuyuki Muto. Shuri Toida is adapting Kazuhiro Hara’s original designs with Sunrise Beyond handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Hiroto, Masaaki Mizunaka as Kazami, Mai Fuchigami as May, Mayu Minami as Parviz, Ai Kakuma as Freddie, Inori Minase as Eve, and Shion Wakayama as Hinata Mukai.

The series revolves around the Gunpla part of the model side and interact with a wide range of models from all the various Gundam properties over its forty-year history.
