‘Tower of God’ Anime Cast Expands

The streaming service, co-producing the series, has dropped a new trailer below for the Spring 2020 series and has also updated the cast.

With the Crunchyroll Original series Tower of God getting underway last week both in Japan and abroad, the show is starting to move through its thirteen episode run. And that means some updates along the way are still coming out. The first one since the series started has the addition of two new characters for the show with their voice actors revealed. Daisuke Ono as Phonsekal Laure and Kenjiro Tsuda as Lero-Ro have joined the production and you can see their character designs respectively below.

The series will be directed by Takashi Sano based on the series composition by Erika Yoshida. Hirokazu Hanai is serving as the assistant director while Masashi Kudo and Miho Tanino are working on the character designs. Telecom Animation Film is handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Taichi Ichikawa as Bam, Saori Hayami as Rachel, Houchu Ohtsuka as Headon, Akira Sekine  as Anaak Jahad, Rie Suegara as Endorsi Jahad, Mariko Honda as Yuri Jahad, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Evan Endroch, Toshinari Fukamachi as Hatz, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Khun Aguero Agnes, Kenta Miyake as Rak Wraithraiser, and Takuya Eguchi as Shibisu.

Korean group Stray Kids will be performing the opening song for the show with “TOP – Japanese ver.-”

Plot Concept: Bam, who was alone all his life has entered the tower to chase after his only friend, Rachel, but how will he survive without having any special strength or power? “What do you desire?
