New ‘Argonavis’ Anime Promo Debuts

The BanG Dream project from Bushiroad has been going really well with three seasons of anime, lots of concerts, merchandise, and vocal recordings to move out there. We learned back in November that it’s going to expand as the boy band Argonavis is working through its game production and an anime adaptation is being launched as well. This adaptation will not cross over with the other one as they’re fully separate works and the preference looks to be no men in BanG Dream outside of some father figures.

The latest update to the project comes in the form of a new promotional video that confirms an April 10th, 2020 debut for the TV run.

The series will be directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori based on the series composition and concept from Nobuhiro Mori, who is doing the game script as well. Hikaru Miyoshi is on board for the character designs with Sanzigen handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Daisuke Hyūga as Yuto Goryo, Masahiro Itou as Ren Nanahoshi, Seiji Maeda as Wataru Matoba, Shōhei Hashimoto as Banri Shiroishi, Shūta Morishima as Rio Kikyo, Hiroto Akiya as Ryo Akebono, Jin Ogasawara as Nayuta Asahi, Kōsuke Miyauchi as Miyuki Sakaigawa, Shinichi Hashimoto as Kenta Satozuki, Takumi Mano as Reon Misono, Atsushi Miyauchi as Kenzō Hakkōda, and Takuya Satō as Shintarō Mashū.
