Viz Media has revealed a new pickup that we’ll be seeing this year with the Super Maria Bros. manga that was produced by Yukio Sawada. The project is set for a December 8th, 2020 debut where it’ll be 160 pages priced at $9.99. The release originally came out in 2017 as Super Mario-kun Selected Stories as Sawada has been doing stories from the games for the character for nearly thirty years now. There are 55 volumes total in Japan through Coro Coro Comics that Shogakukan publishes.
It’s unlikely that they’ll pick up the main series but if it does well enough they may try doing local “best of” collections.
