With a very popular anime adaptation out there, Dark Horse Comics previously picked up the Mob Psycho 100 manga. Not surprising is that they’re now expanding on that as they’ve picked up the Mob Psycho 100: Reigen property as well as it’s now being listed in the distribution chain. Dark Horse Comics has picked up the rights to it with plans for the volume to arrive on October 27th, 2020 – almost two years to the day when the first volume of the main series launched. The series is set at $11.99 per volume with an average of 200 pages per volume.
The anime adaptation is available through Crunchyroll while Netflix has the live-action series. The main manga began in 2012 and ran for sixteen volumes before finishing in December 2017. Reigen ran for a single volume that wrapped up in early 2019.
Plot Concept: It’s not easy being an exorcist, but when you’re a first-rate fraud like Reigen ghostbusting is a lucrative business, especially when you have an underpaid teen psychic to do your dirty work! Enter Shigeo, aka “Mob”—Reigen’s student assistant whose powers keep them in business. Powers Shigeo keeps a tight lock on because when this kid’s repressed emotions reach level 100, it can unleash more psychic energy than either of them can handle!
