The Star Trek: Picard series is set to wrap up its first ten-episode season tomorrow and the folks at CBS All Access are hoping to convert you. With new subscribers, if you use the code GIFT when signing up it’ll work through April 23rd, 2020, giving you plenty of time to check out the show and other things that the service carries.
The cast includes series lead Patrick Stewart along with Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Isa Briones. Recurring/returning characters include Brent Spiner as Data, Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Jonathan Del Arco as Hugh, Jonathan Frakes as William Riker, and Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi.
It's felt good to bring Picard back. I can't wait to reunite with our cast and crew for Season 2. pic.twitter.com/lSmtMxgrN8

“With overwhelming joy, it’s a privilege to welcome Sir Patrick Stewart back to the Star Trek fold,” Kurtzman said last summer. “For over 20 years, fans have hoped for the return of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and that day is finally here. We can’t wait to forge new ground, surprise people, and honor generations both new and old.”
“I will always be very proud to have been a part of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but when we wrapped that final movie in the spring of 2002, I truly felt my time with Star Trek had run its natural course,” Stewart said in August 2018. “It is, therefore, an unexpected but delightful surprise to find myself excited and invigorated to be returning to Jean-Luc Picard and to explore new dimensions within him. Seeking out new life for him, when I thought that life was over.”
Now, hopefully they can find a way to bring in some of the Deep Space Nine actors, since that was my favorite show, and provide a little more look at that part of the galaxy too.
