We learned in December 2019 that a new anime adaptation was in the works for with Shinichiro Oe’s Komatta Jin-san property. The manga is getting done as a TV series on NTV for the spring 2020 season and now the series has revealed its details. Scheduled for an April 8th, 2020 debut, it’s directed by Hiroshi Namiki with Kachidoki Studio handling the animation production.
The cast for it includes Satoshi Hino as the Old Man while Inori Minase will play the Old Lady. Toshiyuki Morikawa is on board as the narrator.
The manga began just over a year ago via Twitter and has one volume in print so far through Kadokawa thanks to its inclusion in places like LINE.

Plot Concept: The comedy manga centers on an old man who pulls stereotypical ikemen (handsome man) actions on similarly old women and makes their hearts flutter.
