What They Say:
Ogase Enterprises has been declared insolvent, and the CEO’s daughter — a high-strung girl of refined tastes — is asked to make friends with the daughter of the CEO of Yanaizu Enterprises, the acquiring company… and she just so happens to be as high-strung as her. But when Yanaizu forces Ogase to complete a math quiz made by her, it becomes clear that the former is far more sadistic… especially when the bunny vibrator is brought out.

Originally released at C96 by the Sakuranbu circle, Milady Wants to Play With Milady! is a twenty-three-page story from creator Sakura. This is their first original work on the service and was published through Irodori Comics. It came up on my radar recently as a yuri title, of which I haven’t seen a lot of, and it had a nice color opening page that made me want to check out more of it. The story is one that doesn’t play like a lot of the hentai I’ve been reading as of late for a range of reasons and it’s a bit more comedy focused with a heavy sexual element to it so it’s a lot of fun in that regard. Sakura’s design work is solid and I liked the characters and just the way everything is put together, though some scenes just feel a lot busier than they should be with so many different things going on.

The story focuses on Aya, a twenty-year-old young woman who has had a pretty good life of privilege because of her father running a big company and having most anything she wanted. Things have gone south for the business and it’s in the midst of being taken over, so he has his daughter basically do anything the daughter of the other CEO wants. That daughter, Nanami, is an eighteen-year-old little sadist but one that’s not quite as bad as she could be. When the two are together she has Aya get done up in a maid outfit and forces her to play a challenging game where the penalty really is the reward. Being forced to answer complex math questions with speed being of necessity would mean most people fail but Aya holds out for a bit before it becomes too overwhelming.

The problem for Aya is that Nanami has a penalty device of a quite bunny rabbit vibrator that gets to work on Aya whenever she gets questions wrong. And that device has a mind of its own as well and doesn’t wait to get started, throwing her off from the beginning. It’s fun to watch as Nanami basically enjoys the show and makes it clear that these penalties ought to be enjoyed but also just to see Aya trying to do her best but continually falling short on that because of how weird the situation is and just how intense the rabbit gets. I’m not saying the book isn’t explicit but it’s not overtly explicit so that you get something that’s almost a little more PG-13 rated here than anything else, a little softcore sexual comedy. It’s fun to watch as Nanami does her best to cope and the storyline is certainly a familiar one.

In Summary
Overall this is a pretty fun story and we’ve seen shades of it in regular manga with it just a bit less explicit than this at times. The story does ramp things up a bit but the artwork keeps it largely softcore in style but it works since it leans into the humor of things more and the challenge that Aya faces with the hard math questions. It certainly has me looking for more yuri titles that I hope are a bit more intense since there’s clearly appeal there for those as well, but it’s not a bad pickup for a first-time look at what’s being offered, especially from the doujin route.
