The folks at HIDIVE have an interesting project that they’re taking on with the feature film for Kaiju Girls (Black). The film is planned for a March 20th, 2020 debut on the streaming service with it being made available to viewers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, and South, Central, and Latin American countries.
Yasutaka Yamamoto directed it with Kento Shimoyama handling the screenplay. Komagoma is handling the character designs with Yumeta Company working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast for this includes Riho Iida as Agira, Sora Tokui as Pigmon, Aina Suzuki as Miclas, Emiri Katō as Zetton, Hiromi Igarashi as Red King, Megumi Han as Eleking, Ayaka Suwa as Gomora, Suzuko Mimori as King Joe, Risae Matsuda as Alien Guts, and Manami Numakura as Bemstar.
The previous two series were directed by Minoru Aashina while Norimitsu Kaiho is handling the concept and setting for it. With character designs by Nekosuke Ōkuma (Nitroplus), Hiroshi Tani, CHOCO, Jirō Tomioka, Namaniku ATK (Nitroplus), Nekokan Masshigura (Nitroplus), Bakutendo, and minoa (Nitroplus)., Studio Puyukai and Mdicrie handled the animation for it.
