The fall 2019 anime adaptation of the Marimashita! Iruma-kun manga is set with a twenty-three episode run planned. With a premiere date of October 5th, 2019 set in Japan, Crunchyroll previously revealed that they’ll be streaming the series on their service under the title of Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun. The streaming service is now doing some new promotion for the show with a look at the twenty-second episode where Kuromu is indisposed and the audience is restless, so Clara comes up with an idea for a unique opening act!

It’ll be directed by Makoto Morikawa based on the series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. The project is being animated at Bandai Namco Pictures and is slotted for twenty-three episodes.

The Japanese cast includes Ayumu Murase as Iruma Suzuki, Ryohei Kimura as Asmodeus Alice, Ayaka Asai as Valac Clara, and Takuya Sato as Sabnock Saburo.

The series comes from creator Osamu Nishi which began in 2017 and has eight volumes out so far. The property has had a slow but steady climb in compiled sales and there’s enough material for a solid cour to help raise its profile in the circulation of the magazine and eventual volumes as well.

The series features the opening sequence with the song “Magical Babyrinth” by Da Pump and the ending sequence with the song “Debikyu” by Yu Serizawa.

Plot Concept: Suzuki Iruma, human, 14, one day finds himself taken against his will into the world of demons. To add to his predicament, his doting owner and self-appointed “Grandpa” is the chair-demon at his new school. In order to survive, Iruma must deal with a haughty student who challenges him to a duel, a girl with adjustment issues, and so many more scary beings! Can this ultimate pacifist dodge the slings and arrows that are flung his way? As he struggles frantically, Iruma’s innate kindness begins to win over enemies. less
