‘Hachinantte Sore wa Inai Deshō!’ Anime Delivers Newest Promo

The light novel series Hachinantte Sore wa Inai Deshō! revealed in December 2017 that it’s up on deck as getting an anime adaptation and it’s been moving slowly forward since then. The latest update from the production includes the latest full trailer for the show and the scheduling of an April 2nd, 2020 premiere date.

The previously announced Japanese cast includes Junya Enoki as Wendelin and Asuka Nishi as Eliz, Yuuna Mimura as Louise, Mikako Komatsu as Iina, and M.A.O as Vilma. Additional casting includes Hiro Shimono as Erwin von Alnim, Tomohito Takatsuka as Roderich, Shizuka Ishigami as Wendelin (young), Tomokazu Sugita as Kurt, Yukana as Amalie, Daisuke Namikawa as Alfred, Yūsaku Yara as Brantack Lyngstad, and Masashi Yamane as Klimt Kristoff von Armstrong.

The opening theme features Demon Kakka and Arika Takarano with “Jikū no Mayoi Hito” (Space-Time of the Hesitant Person) while Akino Arai x AKINO will handle the ending theme song “Tsukiakari Monologue” (Moonlight Monologue).

Tatsuo Miura is on board to direct it with Takeshi Miyamoto handling the series composition. Fuzichoco is listed as the original character designer with Keiji Tanabe adapting them and animation production handled by Shinei Animation and Synergy SP.

The series comes from writer Y.A. and artist Fuzichoco which began in 2013 and wrapped up in 2017 through the online side while print editions began in 2015 and will have fifteen volumes out as of this December 2018. A manga began in 2015 as well with Hiroki Kusumoto handling that which has five volumes out so far.

Plot Concept: The story revolves around Shingo Ichinomiya, a normal, average employee for a trading company. He wakes up one day to find himself inhabiting the body of Wendelin — a five-year-old boy, and the eighth son of a destitute noble family in a fantasy world.
