With the first season landing in July 2017, we learned late last month that Marvel Future Avengers was going to be coming to the Disney+ service. The show has seen broadcast on DisneyXD Asia but I don’t believe it saw North American distribution before. The full first season went live today and we now know that the options for it are, unsurprisingly, limited as we get English dubbed version only. It does include English closed captions for the hearing impaired.
The series is being directed by Yuzo Sato based on the scripts by Ryuu King. Takahiro Umehara is on board as the character designer while Madhouse is once again producing the animation for it.
The English cast includes Dina Sherman as Chloe, Jeannie Elias as Chloe, Max Mittelman as Makoto, Xander Mobus as Adi, Ben Diskin as Iron Monger, Bumper Robinson as Falcon, Erica Lindbeck as Captain Marvel and Carol Danvers, Fred Tatasciore as Hulk and Red Guardian, Kari Wahlgren as Darkstar, Enchantress, and Wasp, Kirk Thornton as Arnim Zola, Liam O’Brien as Red Skull, Mick Wingert as Iron Man and Tony Stark, Patrick Seitz as Thor, Roger Craig Smith as Captain America, Todd Haberkorn as Bruno, Trevor Devall as Loki, and Yuri Lowenthal as Crimson Dynamo. It was directed by Mike McFarland.
The Japanese cast includes Eiji Hanawa as Iron Man, Kazuhiro Nakaya as Captain America, Yasuyuki Kase as Thor, Kenichirou Matsuda as Hulk, Kaori Mizuhashi as Wasp, Aki Kanada as Makoto, Atsushi Tamaru as Adi, and Juri Kimura as Kuroe.
Plot Concept: The story follows Makoto, a young boy who gains superpowers due to an evil gene manipulation experiment. Makoto and other youths join the Avengers as apprentices named “Future Avengers.” The anime shows Makoto and others as they train, fight villains and grow, under Avengers members Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Wasp.
