It’s been a few years since this title was talked about but the folks at Aniplex Japan are getting ready for a new Blood-C box set. Scheduled for a March 25th, 2020 debut, this new set will include the twelve-episode TV series and the feature film. With a bit to go, we now have a new 90-second promo that gives us the opening theme song for it done up to remind people about the show. The opening sequence is definitely a good one and the visuals here certainly appeal to fans of the show.

It’ll be priced at 27,000 yen and include four CDs with it; two dramas and two original soundtracks. The film even comes with a new audio commentary with the cast. Add in a booklet, the clean opening and closing, promos and trailers for the show and film, and it’s a pretty slick set with all that it has including brand new extras.

Directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani based on the screenplay by Junichi Fujisaku and Nanase Ohkawa, the film had its character designs by Kazuchika Kise, who also served as the chief animation director, with the animation produced by Production I.G.

Plot concept: Saya is part human, part monster, and has one thing on her mind: revenge. Visions of twisted experiments and creatures slaughtering everyone she loved fuel her thirst for vengeance. As Saya slices her way through lies, traps, flesh, and bone, how much blood will she shed to cut down the mastermind behind her madness?
