Warner Bros. Japan is handling the home video distribution for Is It Wrong To Try to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? and they’ve moved onto the next phase of selling the first season. Originally, the thirteen-episode series received a seven-volume release on Blu-ray and DVD where both formats are being listed as limited editions. For the first six volumes, they’re priced at 7,000 yen and 6,000 yen respectively while the seventh volume is priced at 3,500 yen and 3,000 yen. The seventh volume will have, at this time, just episode thirteen.
Now, a compact release has been scheduled for February 26th, 2020 where it’ll be a single-disc compact release priced at 10,780 yen. As that’s just about here, it’s a huge savings over what came before and we now have a look at the cover artwork. Unsurprisingly, it’s just the main key visual, but that’s what you get for space and price savings.

The anime adaptation of Fujino Omori’s light novel series is the first part of a slate of titles that will be planned for the GA Bunko imprint that it’s a part of. The series is directed by Yoshiki Yamakawa at JC Staff based on scripts and composition by Hideki Shirane and character designs by Shigeko Kimoto.
The series stars Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Bell Cranel, Inori Minase as Hestia, Saori Onishi as Eyes Warenstein, Maaya Uchida as Ririruka Ahde, Haruka Tomatsu as Eina Chūru and Shizuka Ishigami as Shiru Furova.
Plot concept: The huge labyrinth city, Orario, is the gateway to the huge underground maze commonly known as the “Dungeon”. Its strange name causes excitement, a place to gain honour, and maybe even a romance with a pretty girl. A place where people hold their breath, hoping to gain all they wish for, a place where a solitary young man meets a little “god”.
