We got our first teaser promo for the new TV series on Syfy with Vagrant Queen way back in September but it was just that, a teaser. Now, Syfy has brought out the more traditional 90-second trailer for the new TV series with the reveal of a March 27th, 2020 premiere for it. It’s scheduled for a ten-episode run.
The property comes from the Vault Comics series of the same name that was written by Magdelene Visaggio and illustrated by Jason Smith.
The series was produced by Blue Ice Pictures and filmed in Cape Town, South Africa.
The cast includes Adriyan Rae as Elida, Alex McGregor as Amae, and Colin Moss as Hath
Plot Concept: The series follows Elida from child queen to orphaned outcast, as she scavenges the treacherous corners of the galaxy, always one step ahead of the Republic government out to extinguish her bloodline. When her old friend Isaac shows up claiming her mother Xevelyn is still alive, they head off with their new ally, Amae, to stage a rescue that will take her back into the perilous heart of her former kingdom and up against a deadly foe from her childhood, Commander Lazaro.
