Originally serialized in Comic Bavel from the February 2020 installment, Secret Wife #4 is a twenty-page story from creator Syuuen, who has over a dozen other stories on the service as of this writing. I enjoyed a couple of their previous works so I had kept an eye out for more and this one just caught my eye with the previous installments. Though I had missed the first installment I got hooked on the second and then the third one took the story forward more. With the nature of hentai manga, you never know when or if you’ll get more of an actual serialized story so when the fourth chapter landed this week I was all in to see more of what was going to happen to Miyuki and to see if she’s found a way out of her problem.
With Miyuki now having gone further than before as the film crew was at her home the day before and forced events into her marital bed, a new day means new problems. The arrival of the neighborhood association has them wanting to invite her into the association with its usual fees and perks but the three men that have shown up don’t have the paperwork for her to sign. What they have is a glamor shot from her video sales for her to sign, making it clear that they know who she is. It’s cute to see how she tries to play it off demurely as someone else, but they had seen the crew yesterday and are aware of what’s going on. And that her husband doesn’t know, giving them leverage over her as well. It doesn’t take much for them to make clear what they want as they crowd around her and Miyuki knows that it’s a given if she wants to keep things secret.
While events largely work out on a one by one basis with the association guys, Miyuki also gets involved in trying to ease them out together initially, hoping that they don’t have much in them so that it doesn’t become a long encounter. They’re more prepared than she expected – one of them brought lube! – and it turns into a much more problematic encounter as it progresses. The actual scenes are pretty well done with Syuuen creating some intense action with Miyuki’s beautiful design, but it’s the emotional side that really heightens things. Miyuki’s surprised by how far they go and I’m amused by one of them talking about how Miyuki is the same age as his daughter and it’s like fooling around with one of her friends. So clear perv made more clear. But it’s Miyuki that’s struggling here as she feels empty with the situation and unfulfilled by it, which is surprising. She gets into it more as she really wears them down and drains them but I wonder if what’s missing is the being film aspect that has worked to turn her on more than she expected.
In Summary
With the next chapter set to conclude the storyline, I’m curious to see where Syuuen will go with it. There are plenty of options to be had that cover a range of crazy ideas so it’s wide open and I like that unpredictable aspect. Syuuen’s artwork is again top-notch here as we get a great looking Miyuki but we also have her placed within some really nicely defined locations that ups the ante on the connection made as it feels more lived-in. I’m definitely going to be sad to see this storyline go but Syuuen has definitely had fun with it and each installment doesn’t feel like it’s just repetition but rather building upon what came before and going in a new direction.
