Azur Lane: Crosswave Sets Sail Today

Idea Factory International announced a partnership with Limited Run Games to release a standard and limited physical edition of Azur Lane: Crosswave in North America a few months back. They previously announced that it will be released for the PS4™ and Steam® in February 2020 with Japanese, English, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. We know that the Steam® version will be released on February 13th. The PS4™ version will be released on February 13th in North America and February 21st in Europe. Do you know what today is? Yup, it’s February 13th which means that the game has officially launched in North America! Idea Factory International announced that anyone who purchased the Standard or Limited Edition of Azur Lane: Crosswave from either the IFI NA Online Store or Limited Run Games will receive the DLC Bundle for free! The codes will be distributed via email within the first week of launch! The DLC Bundle includes avatars, PS4™ themes, and the OST.

Idea Factory International announced that Neptune from the Neptunia™ series will be available as free DLC but only for the first month of release. After that, she won’t be available to download or purchase. Read more about the launch dates and free Neptunia DLC here!

Azur Lane: Crosswave was announced back in 2018 for the PlayStation 4. It’s a 3D shooter game that follows a different story from the mobile game and features new characters. It was released in Japan on August 29, 2019. Idea Factory International announced that they would be handling the English language release.

If you need your Azur Lane fix while waiting for the game to come out, an anime adaptation began airing on October 3rd, 2019.

The series has Tensho directing at Bibury Animation Studio, which he founded. Jin Haganeya in on board to handle the scripts while Masayuki Nonaka is serving as the character designer and chief animation director.

The Japanese cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Enterprise and Mai Nakahara as Akagi. Yui Horie, Yō Taichi, Maria Naganawa, and Nozomi Yamane reprise their roles as Belfast, Ayanami, Laffey, and Javelin from the game.
