The 2020 anime series Appare-Ranman! from PA Works has revealed some new information about their upcoming spring series. The series is now set for an April 10th, 2020 debut on Tokyo MX and others You can see the latest promotional video below as well as the full cast breakdown.
The series is directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, who worked on the series composition and is responsible for the original story. Yurie Oohigashi is on board for the character designs with P.A . Works handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:

- Fumiko Orikasa as Sophia Taylor
- Sōma Saitō as Al Leon

Plot Concept: After a certain mishap, the brilliant but socially inept engineer Appare Sorano and the shrewd but cowardly samurai Kosame Isshiki find themselves drifting on a boat from Japan to America. Broke, the two decide to compete in the Trans-America Wild Race to win the prize and return to Japan. The two battle crazy rivals, outlaws, and the great outdoors itself as they race through the wild West from the starting line in Los Angeles to the finish line in New York — in the steam-powered car they built.
