With strong sales of the manga in Japan and an anime that did well there but was criminally neglected here, we learned in early November 2019 that the third season of Kingdom had gotten the green light. With the main cast returning as needed for the season, the official site has revealed three new characters and their voice actors with:
- Daisuke Namikawa as Go Hou Mei (Wu Feng Ming)
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kou Yoku (Xiang Yi)
- Yūto Uemura as Haku Rei (Bai Li)

They join Yuya Uchida as Shun Shin Kun, Miou Tanaka as Kan Mei, and Atsuko Tanaka as Ka Rin.
This season changed up the staffing side as it features Kenichi Imaizumi directing based on the scripts by Noboru Takagi. Hisashi Abe is on board for the character designs with animation production by Studio Signpost.
Check out our review of the second season.
