Madman Entertainment is stepping up for Australiaian audiences with the scheduling of the Code Geass film trilogy release. This brings out the InitiationTransgression, and Glorification films in a new collection along with the Resurrection film. The project is a Blu-ray-only release and subtitled-only that’s priced at $89.98 and now they’re doing some new promotion for it. Extras for the release include:

  • Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection: A Casual Conversation with Donald Shults & Elizabeth Maxwell
  • Visual Commentary
  • Promo Videos
  • Commercials

The project brings back a lot of familiar names with Goro Taniguchi directing based on the screenplay by Ichiro Okouchi. Working from CLAMP’s original character designs, Takahiro Kimura will be handling that area while Sunrise is on the animation production. The project comes after wrapping up the recap film trilogy this past May and we should have most of the (surviving) cast return for this edition of it.

The previously announced new cast includes Ayumu Murase as Shario, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shesutaaru, Wataru Takagi as Bituru, Keiko Toda as Shamuna, Akio Ohtsuka as Fōgunaa, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Kujapatto

The original TV series premiere in 2006 with a sequel run in 2008. A spinoff OVA series began in 2012 that ran for several years with Akito the Exiled.

Plot Concept: The world is at war. Lelouch Lamperouge, an exiled prince, encounters a strange girl known as C.C., who gifts him with a great power. With this ability, Lelouch can get anyone to do as he wills. But the power of Geass: is it a blessing…or a curse?
