‘Arte’ Anime Premiere Set With New Promo

Arte Spalletti is the only daughter of a noble family and has shown her love for painting since her childhood. Despite strong opposition from her mother who wishes her to marry an ordinary man, she refuses to give up her dream and has independence away from home.

The anime adaptation of the Arte manga was announced back in July 2019 and the official site has updated with some new details. A new promotional video has landed and we get the nod through it that the series will debut on April 4th, 2020. Additionally, we’ve also learned that Maaya Sakamoto will be performing the opening theme “Clove” for the series. We previously learned that Kiyono Yasuno is on board for the ending song “Hare Moyo.”

The series will be directed by Takayuki Hamana based on the scripts by Reiko Yoshida. Chieko Miyakawa is handling the character designs with Seven Arcs handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast and their designs include:

  • Junya Enoki as Angelo
  • Sayaka Ohara as Veronica
  • Kousuke Toriumi as Yuri
  • M.A.O. as Catalina
  • Kiyono Yasuno as Dacha

The manga comes from Kei Okubo which began in 2013 as serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon and has eleven volumes out so far. The first three volumes of the manga are available digitally in English from Amazon.
