Yen Press has had a bit of a quieter entry into 2020 so far but they’re getting us some news with a new manga pickup. The publisher has acquired the rights to Masaki Kusaka’s Fiancée of the Wizard manga adaptation. It’s based on the novels by Syuri Nakamura and Keiko Sakano and the adaptation began back in 2017 with four volumes compiled so far. The original novels themselves began back in 2013 and have nine installments out so far.
Yen Press will bring the first volume of the manga out in July 2020 in both print and digital form.
Plot Concept: When a woman is reborn into a world of swords and sorcery as a young girl, her new life takes a turn for the fantastic as she meets an impossibly handsome yet surly son of a wizard. A future of magic, adventure, and romance awaits!
