Madman Entertainment ‘Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly’ Anime DVD/BD Releases

With the first film for this out back during the end of 2018, Madman Entertainment has now set the scheduling for the second Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] film. The release is going with the same format in separate regular edition DVD and Blu-ray editions as well as a DVD/BD combo that arrives on May 27th, 2020. The bilingual releases come with the promos and trailers while the limited edition also comes with an artbook, and animation book, and limited edition packaging which is priced at $59.95. The regular edition releases are priced at $34.95.

The film is directed by Tomonori Sudou based on the screenplay by Akira Hiyama with Sudou serving as the chief animation director at ufotable.

Plot Concept: Shirou Emiya made his choice: to keep fighting, and to protect Sakura Matou. Due to the participation of Zouken Matou in the Holy Grail War, and his summoning of the Servant True Assassin, things begin to distort, steadily worsening day by day. Resolved to protect Sakura and not betray her, Shirou refuses to leave the battle. While Sakura worries about Shirou, she also finds herself entangled in her own fate as a mage. However, their fervent wishes are about be crushed by the mysterious black shadow that covers the city, killing Masters and Servants one by one…
