“No problem!!”

What They Say:
Young guitarist and singer Howan dreams of leaving her small village to be a famous musician. She travels to the city and meets the talented guitarist, Mashima. Along with shy Delmin, and sweet Ruhuyu, they form the all-girls rock band, Mashumairesh. Now they face their first big contender in the rival male group DOKONJOFINGER. It’s time for some glitter and rock and roll!

Practice is over for the day and the girls head out. Ruhuyu is as energetic as always and comments that she could barely hold her sticks back today. Delmin remarks that drummers shouldn’t rush. They need to keep a steady rhythm. Ruhuyu is not amused and jots something down in her notebook. What is she writing down, I wonder? Next door, the Dokofin boys are arguing over curry flavors. Ruhuyu admires their energy and rushes over to see what the fuss is about. That probably wasn’t the best idea as Hachi gets punched and sent flying towards her. Delmin shoves her out of the way and then fires off a beam from her horns!?!? Hachi is sent crashing into a nearby wall. I guess those of the devil-mint demon dragon tribe can shoot beams. Good to know! It’s a pretty cool ability and Ruhuyu thinks so, too! She fantasizes about having a superpower of her own. In all the commotion, she dropped her notebook and Delmin is the one who ends up finding it.

After buying some delicious cutlets, Delmin heads home. She looks at the notebook she found that has the title “Operation Moonlight: Road to Success, vol. 3” written on it. Elsewhere, Ruhuyu is losing her mind after realizing her notebook is missing. It’s rude to read people’s stuff but Delmin has no choice! She can’t return it if she doesn’t know whose it is. As she reads through the notebook, Delmin realizes this person is trying really hard to be cool and be friends with someone. Also, this person sounds familiar. Wait, could it be? Yup, Delmin finds out this is Ruhuyu’s notebook and she’s been trying really hard to be friends with her! However, what is a friend? Delmin doesn’t understand this concept. Oh boy…

Delmin decides it’s best to return her notebook secretly. That’s probably for the best. She gets a text from Howan inviting her over for a hot pot. Hot pot, heck yeah! The other girls also get the same text and everyone meets up at Himeko’s place. Himeko wonders why this hot pot party is being held at her apartment? Also, why are they having a hot pot party? Howan mentions that it’s a party to celebrate her job interview! By the way, she didn’t get the job. This is just a celebration for her just having an interview, haha. Never change, Howan. Delmin tries to slip the notebook into Ruhuyu’s bag but she jumps back in shock when discovering that Howan didn’t get the job! This forces Delmin to quickly hide the notebook behind her back. Ruhuyu picks up on this and is curious to know what she’s hiding. Thus, she proceeds to chase Delmin around the room in order to find out! Eventually, she manages to snatch the notebook from her hands and realizes it’s hers. Did…did Delmin read it? Yeah, she did. Ruhuyu walks into the nearby closet and screams loudly! How embarrassing! She can never show her face again!

Himeko wants her out of the closet. This is her place, dangit! She refuses to leave though. She can’t face everyone now that they’ve all read her notebook. Ruhuyu admits that she hates being normal. She wanted to be special like Delmin. Her life must be great! On a side note, I just want to mention that Ruhuyu lives in a freaking mansion. I’d like to think her life isn’t that bad but I don’t know her family situation. Anyway. Delmin seems to be ticked off by Ruhuyu’s words. What the heck does she know? She proceeds to blow up the closet door with her beam. That seemed unnecessary. Delmin tells her that she doesn’t know her at all and runs off. Everyone splits up to go find her. Howan hilariously mistakes a stick of cotton candy for Delmin, haha. Unfortunately, it belonged to a cop and she gets scolded for ruining his snack! A nice song by the band plays in the background during the searching scenes. I wish they would have performed it at a concert instead as there wasn’t one in this episode.

Eventually, Ruhuyu finds Delmin at the park. She goes to hug her but Delmin dodges it on instinct. Ruhuyu comments that she’s amazing. Delmin disagrees. She’s small and was always called a disappointment by her tribe. Those jerks! How dare they be mean to this cutie!? That’s the reason why she had to move to the city. The only time she was ever called special was in this city. But she doesn’t want to be special. She wants to be normal. Ruhuyu apologizes for being insensitive. She just wanted to be special and doesn’t understand why Delmin would want to be normal. Delmin doesn’t understand why Ruhuyu would want to be special. Doesn’t that make them similar? She doesn’t know what it means to be friends but she’d like to! Will Ruhuyu be her friend? Of course! Ruhuyu embraces her tightly. D’awww. You can tell Delmin is happy because her tail is standing up straight! This was adorable.

They both go back to Himeko’s place and apologize for destroying her closet door. But more importantly, everyone knows Ruhuyu’s secret now. She wants to know all of theirs! Howan suggests a game that her grandmother taught her. Everyone draws a card and the person with the lowest card has to reveal a secret about themselves. Everyone is down to play except Himeko. Why should she? Everyone gives her puppy dog eyes. She can’t say no to that! In the first round, Howan draws the lowest card. She reveals that she loses things easily. That doesn’t count as a secret, everyone knows that already! Ruhuyu loses the second round and reveals that her drumsticks also act as dispensers!? One of them is a sesame seed dispenser, the other a salt dispenser. Haha, what? I guess that could come in handy every now and then. Himeko loses the next round and reveals that she hides a pick in her hair in case she drops hers during a show. Everyone admires how professional she is! Delmin loses the last round and reveals that she carries around her grandfather’s horn in her bag. Sure, why not? Also, she can play it like a flute! The episode ends with a close-up of a Reijingsignal poster. Will we get to see them in the next episode!?

In Summary:
Warning, this episode may give you diabetes! It was certainly adorable. The entire scene with Delmin and Ruhuyu in the park was just so darn cute. It was also heartwarming when they came to understand that they were similar. I have a feeling that they’re going to become the best of friends. The card game they played was great. All those secrets revealed! I was hoping that they would perform a song but I guess every episode can’t have a concert. That’s a shame. Although, the Reijingsignal poster at the end gives me hope for the next episode. Will they appear? Will they have a concert!? Will someone have a concert!?!? If you couldn’t tell, I just really want to hear more songs.
