The winter 2020 anime series Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!! is underway and the folks at Funimation are doing some new promotion for it. With a couple of episodes out so far, they’re now showing off the key pieces that draw people in with the theme songs. Check out the opening sequence song “Hiromenes” by Mashumairesh!! as well as the closing sequence with the song “Kimi no Rhapsody” by Mashumairesh!! .
Funimation will be handling the show that’s currently listed as a simulcast-only release. Availability for it is set for viewers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
The series has Seung Hui Son directing it based on the scripts from Daisuke Tazawa. Nobuyuki Ito is on board as the character designer and chief animation director with Kinema Citrus handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Aya Yamane as Ruhuyu, Hikaru Tohno as Howan, Misaki Watada as Delmin, Yuko Natsuyoshi as Himeko Mashima, Kent Itō as Yasu, Lynn as Rararin, Minori Suzuki as Uiui, Shōhei Komatsu as Hachin, Yū Serizawa as Sumomone, Yusuke Shirai as Sojun, and Yuuki Ono as Joe.

Plot concept: Young guitarist and singer Howan dreams of leaving her small village to be a famous musician. She travels to the city and meets the talented guitarist, Mashima. Along with shy Delmin, and sweet Ruhuyu, they form the all-girls rock band, Mashumairesh. Now they face their first big contender in the rival male group DOKONJOFINGER. It’s time for some glitter and rock and roll!
