‘Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045’ 3DCG Anime Netflix Series Reveals New Trailer & Details

We learned last December that Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki set themselves up at Netflix for a bit with some of their projects as they the second season of the Ultraman series coming as well as the December announced Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 for the streaming service. The series is being planned as a two-cour run with twelve episodes for each season and we knew previously that it was set for the spring. Now, the official site has updated with Netflix dropping a new trailer (English version below) and setting for an April 2020 debut worldwide with exact dates to come.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Atsuko Tanaka as Motoko Kusanagi
  • Akio Ohtsuka as Batou
  • Kōichi Yamadera as Togusa
  • Osamu Saka as Daisuke Aramaki
  • Sakiko Tamagawa as Tachikoma
  • Takashi Onozuka as Pazu
  • Tarô Yamaguchi as Borma
  • Toru Ohkawa as Saito
  • Yutaka Nakano as Ishikawa

Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki will be directing it with Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts handling the actual production. Ilya Kuvshinov will be designing the characters
