Originally acquired by Geneon Entertainment USA but never released due to being shut down, Deltora Quest saw release recently on DVD from Cinedigm. Unfortunately for fans of the original work, it wasn’t the full run but rather the “full” English run. The series originally ran for 65 episodes starting in 2007 based off of the manga of the same name that ran for ten volumes. The AsianCrush streaming service is now bringing that collection of episodes to its service with it again being in English and it’s now available to both premium and free members in the US and Canada. All 52 episodes are now available on the service, which you can find here.

Plot concept: The evil Shadow Lord has taken control of the kingdom of Deltora and has driven the land and its people into misfortune and suffering. Lief, the son of a blacksmith, has just turned sixteen and is entrusted, along with his two companions Barda and Jasmine, with an important mission: to retrieve the stolen seven magical stones that once reunited within the Belt of Deltora, will bring power to the true heir of Deltora and give him the power to free the kingdom from the tyranny of the Shadow Lord. There is just one problem; the seven stones have been scattered all across Deltora and currently reside in the hands of seven wicked men who are not easily willing to give them up.
