Crunchyroll Adds Additional ‘Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet’ Anime Episodes

Gargantia on the Verdurous PlanetViz Media brought the anime series Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet onto the Crunchyroll service some time ago and we’ve seen it come and go on other services. Somewhat out of the blue at this point, the streaming service has revealed that they’ve added the 14th and 15th episodes of the show as well as the two-episode OVA sequel. Availability for it is limited to viewers in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America.

Directed by Tony Oliver at Bang Zoom Entertainment, the series stars Alan Lee as Ledo, Cassandra Lee Morris as Amy, Matt Mercer as Chamber, Marc Diraison as Kugel, Karen Srassman as Striker, Julie Ann Taylor as Bellows, Patrick Seitz as Pinion, Laura Post as Ridget, Michelle Ruff as Bebel/Grace, Natalie Hoover as Saaya, Janice Roman Roku as Melty, Johanna Luis as Lukkage, Geoffrey Chambers as Farlocke, Steve Mann as Oldham, Doug Stone as Flange, Kyle Hebert as Crown and Tony Oliver as Worm

Plot concept: In the distant future, Ledo, a young soldier from space wakes up and finds himself marooned on an ocean planet. Growing up in space, and knowing nothing but battle, he is a stranger in a strange land, full of odd customs and a foreign language, but he’s not alone. Starting a new journey on this verdurous planet, Ledo must find a way to survive and reconcile that fact that he may never be able to return home!
