With the first Bloodshot trailer not generating much in the way of waves when it came out previously, the second trailer for it from Sony Pictures has arrived. The film is set for a March 13th, 2020 debut directed by David Wilson based on the screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. It’s based on the comics from Valiant Entertainment.
The cast includes Vin Diesel as Raymond “Ray” Garrison / Bloodshot, Eiza González, Sam Heughan as Jimmy Dalton, Toby Kebbell as Axe, Guy Pearce as Dr. Emil Harting, Lamorne Morris as Wilfred Wigans, Talulah Riley as Gina DeCarlo, Alex Hernandez as Tibbs, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Nick Baris.
Plot Concept: After he and his wife are suddenly assassinated, Marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) is reborn by a team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he struggles to recall anything from his previous years. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally felt.
