2nd ‘Nekopara’ Anime Episode Previewed

The erotic visual novel game series Neko Para made its January 9th, 2020 debut and now production member Avex Pictures is handling some new promotion. The second episode of the series is coming up on January 16th, 2020 and they’ve now brought out the first teaser for it. Funimation picked up the series for streaming and they’re bringing out the simulcast on the same day while a simuldub will be coming later. The series will be available to viewers in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Yasutaka Yamamoto is directing with Yuichi Hirano on board as the character designer. Felix Film is handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Yuki Yagi as Chocola, Iori Saeki as Vanilla, Shiori Izawa as Azuki, Miku Itō as Maple, Yuri Noguchi as Cinnamon, Marin Mizutani as Coconut, M.A.O as Minaduki Sigure, and Shinnosuke Tachibana as Kashou Minaduki.

The game series has been running since 2014 with multiple projects out.

The show has the opening theme of “Shiny Happy Days” by Yuki Yagi, Iori Saeki, Shiori Izawa, Miku Itō, Yuri Noguchi, & Marin Mizutani while the ending theme is “Yōdamari no Kaori” by Yuki Yagi & Iori Saeki.

The OVA project previously out was animated by studio ixtl and Felix Film and ran for an hour. It was directed by Hayashi Hiroki and was written by Yuta Kikuchi.

Property Concept: Kashou Minaduki is an aspiring chef who moves away from home to open his own confection shop. While he is unpacking in his new shop, he discovers that two of his family’s Nekos, Chocola and Vanilla, came along with him by hiding in cardboard boxes. After the two Nekos convince Kashou to let them stay and live with him, the three of them work together to run his shop, La Soleil. During the story, Kashou receives a couple of visits from his younger sister Shigure and the other four Nekos owned by their family.
