The winter 2019 anime series Grimms Notes based on the game by Square Enix is getting its home video release handled by Sentai Filmworks. They previously set a March 3rd, 2020 release date for the complete collection as a Blu-ray-only release. With that about two months away, they’ve now rolled out a look at the finalized cover artwork for it. The monolingual set is priced at $59.98 and will include the clean opening and closing along with the Japanese promos as extras. Check out the finalized packaging below!

The series is set to make a January 10th, 2019 debut in Japan.

Seiki Sugawara is directing it based on the series composition by Hiroshi Yamaguchi. Kentaro Matsumoto is handling the character designs with Brain’s Base working on the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Ryota Ohsaka as Ekusu, Reina Ueda as Reina, Miyu Kubota as Shane,  Takuya Eguchi as Tao, Takahiro Mizushima as Loki, and Sumire Uesaka as Curly.

Ayana Taketatsu is going to handle the opening theme song “Innocent Notes” for the series while i☆Ris is set to perform ending theme song “Endless Notes,” which isn’t too much of a surprise as one of the members, Miyu Kubota, is in the series itself.

Plot Concept: In this mysterious world, everyone is granted a Book of Fate. These powerful books chronicle everything that is and will be about a person’s life. But the sinister Chaos Tellers are rewriting people’s destinies to include catastrophic events. The only ones who can stand against them are a select few who possess blank books of fate.
