1 min read

The next series in this franchise is coming up after VRAINS finished off earlier this year with Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens. The new series is set for an April 2020 debut and the latest round of information has surfaced for it. The show will be directed by Nobuhiro Kondo based on the scripts overseen by Toshimitsu Takeuchi. Kazuko Tadano and hiromi Matsushita are the character designers on it with studio Bridge handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Hiiro Ishibashi as Yūga Ōdō
  • Taku Yashiro as Tatsuhisa Kamijō
  • Natsuki Hanae as Gakuto Sōgetsu
  • Tomori Kusunoki as Romin Kirishima

Plot Concept: The series takes place in the future in the town of Gōha. Yūga Ōdō, a fifth-grade student, loves both inventions and dueling. His classmate Luke is a self-styled “number one duelist at Gōha 7 Elementary School.” Gakuto is the school’s student council president, and Romin is Yūga’s classmate.
