The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
After being threatened and then having a bomb placed in the club room, the four are now desperately trying to figure out how to get out of this. That has one of them working as a bomb defuser guy but the tension and the way everyone talks just makes it all the more problematic. And then with their opponent being all chummy over the loudspeaker as the counter goes down doesn’t help either – particularly since hs ‘not interested in actually helping. There’s a lot of amusement in the panic that ensues, followed by memories of their days together in the club, which results in the expected dud as they’re just being toyed with. It’s a bit anticlimactic but considering who all is involved it fits fairly well.
In Summary:
While this show has had its moments throughout because of the group dynamic, more often than not it’s just been a bit of a trudge to get through. This closes up the bomb threat storyline like all the other storylines with nothing actually happening to anyone so it’s fairly anticlimactic. It does help our core boys bond a bit more but that only goes so far. The silly moments are just that but little more.
