We’ve had a couple of people involved in the live-action Flash feature film that’s been in various stages since the character appeared going into Justice League a few years back. While we’ve had Aquaman go forward along with an upcoming Wonder Woman film, this one keeps sliding around with nothing firm and no director attached formally – though we saw this summer that Andy Muschietti might be fully on board with it.
Warner Bros. has been updating their slate of films and they finally mentioned this one with it now given a July 1st, 2022 release date. This joins Aquaman 2 which is set for a December 16th, 2022 release date. Warner has three DC Films set for 2021 as well with The Batman, Suicide Squad, and Black Adam.
The cast includes Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West and Billy Crudup as Henry Allen.
