With a fourth volume of her manga based on her Twitter and pixiv Comic works, Hidekichi Matsumoto’s essay manga Inu to Neko Docchimo Katteru to Mainichi Tanoshii, aka I Enjoy Raising Both a Dog and a Cat Every Day, is getting an anime adaptation. No details are available regarding it yet other than it’s been given the green light.
The project started in 2017 with Kodansha Comics publishing it in print and in their Palcy magazine.
Plot Concept: The manga recounts Matsumoto’s daily life while raising both a sweet, innocent dog and a “devilishly vicious yet adorable” cat. Everyday, there is laughter and even a tear or two.
