The festival side of things continues and it’s easy to imagine that the Bananya species likes to party a lot. With some cute music underway, everyone gets to dancing and producing music so that they all have fun together. It is fairly cute overall and works to show the way they all get together as a community – including fireworks. I do like seeing the group that’s handling that and then having an incident happen with someone being whisked up into the sky, adding a little tension to the moment. But there is no Bananya-splat in this show but rather just more cuteness. I do think this show can get weirdly dark at points and it’s amusing when it does.
In Summary:
Bananya has one of its lesser “story” episodes this time around and it’s more just about everyone hanging out and enjoying the festival. There’s nothing more to it than that really as even the little tension that’s added certainly doesn’t feel like tension. It’s another good palette cleanser between other shows you may be watching.
