Originally serialized in Comic Kairakuten from the November 2019 installment, Just Strip, Damn It! is a twenty-page story from creator SAVAN, who has a whole lot of work on the service and some of which I’ve really enjoyed before. I made it a point to hunt up more of his stuff when I got a lull to read some hentai and am glad that I did. The thing that makes the stories work is that while it’s not innocent per se, there’s a kind of innocence about it that’s endearing and makes it easy to connect with even as it plays with some of the familiar cliches. It doesn’t overdo or overthink things but rather just comes across as more natural than you might think.

With all that in mind, the downside to this story is that it’s an incest one, though you can just ignore the text and enjoy it like you do incest porn as all play-believe. Here, we’re introduced to Saki and her friend Ayane as they’re out and about and talking like people do about their relationships. Ayane goes into some detail about the older guy she’s seeing and that surprises Saki who says she keeps things pretty simple. The reality is that she’s not dating anyone but lives vicariously through what Ayane is telling her. It’s an utterly adorable sequence because it’s the right kind of fun-dirty that makes you grin and it’s also something you just don’t see in manga or hentai in this way. It’s blunt and honest real talk that’s closer to reality than a lot of other dialogue is.

When Saki makes her way back home, she ends up in her room while her brother walks by her down the hall. There’s a really good sequence of self-exploration that gets underway and it’s tied to her not knowing anything, wanting to know, and just being kinda dreamy about it. Of course, this is when her brother opens the door, surprised by what he sees, and the two get into it. Well, not right away, but some back and forth gets going and Saki sees it as a way of getting some experience. Again, you can just change keywords and read it without the squick. If the squick gets you, skip it. In terms of visuals, it’s once again great as I love the way SAVAN presents her as she’s just enjoying herself without any guilt and then embracing the physicality of sex and what it does to the body. She’s in its thrall and thoroughly enjoying it and the character designs and express are fantastic.

In Summary
I hate to seem like I’m harping on the point of contention but it’s one that just needs to be addressed. It’s a familiar piece to a lot of hentai and I usually manage to avoid it and only really end up with it when I skim the tags or just see a creator I like and read without checking the tag. There’s a lot to like with this story excepting the key piece of it as the artwork is great, the chatting between friends at the start is fantastic, and the actual sex sequence is beautifully executed. That gets it a hugely mixed recomendation.
