The latest edition of the DC Comics Art Academy has arrived as the series of art tutorials and interviews recorded at Comic-Cons focuses on Gabriel Picolo and Kami Garcia. This piece clocks in at just about sixteen minutes as we get Kami mostly doing the talking while Gabriel does the artwork based on their Raven book that came out back on July 2nd, 2019.
This installment does a great job of showing Gabriel Picolo as he draws Raven and discusses how he thought he was being scammed while being approached to work on the book.
It’s definitely fun to hear how this book came together and to see a beautiful headshot put together for Raven herself.
