AnimeLab Adds Dubbed ‘Goblin Slayer’ Anime Streaming

The fall 2018 anime adaptation of Kumo Kagyu’s property Goblin Slayer has some new movement on the overseas market. While Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has set a January 22nd, 2020 release date for the season with it coming out in bilingual DVD/BD sets and a limited edition version as well, some new streaming options have surfaced as well. AnimeLab, which serves the region for streaming, has now brought the dubbed version of this series out there for audiences. We don’t get too many notifications of new dubs arriving so this is definitely welcome news. Check out the promo below for it!

The home video releases are priced at $69.95 and $99.95 respectively, on-disc extras include the tabletop talk, a commentary track for episode eleven, and the clean songs. The limited-edition has special packaging, art cards, and an art book.

The series is directed by Takaharu Ozaki based on the series composition by Hideyuki Kurata. Takashi Nagayoshi is handling the character designs while White Fox is working the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Yuichiro Umehara as Goblin Slayer, Yui Ogura as Priestess, Nao Tōyama as High Elf Archer, Yuka Iguchi as Cow Girl, Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl, Yūichi Nakamura as Dwarf Shaman, Tomokazu Sugita as Lizard Priest, Yōko Hikasa as Witch, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Spearman.

The light novels from Kumo Kagyu began in 2016 with seven volumes out as of March 2018. A manga adaptation by Kosuke Kurose began in 2016 as well with Yen Press releasing both of them in North America.

Plot Concept: A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It’s the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue–a man who’s dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there’s no telling who might come calling next…
