The spring 2019 anime series Why the hell are you here, Teacher!? is getting its home video release handled by King Records. The twelve-episode series plus an unaired episode are being put together as a box set only release with it scheduled to land on December 11th, 2019. We had some additional animation with the 8th volume of the manga, which came out with a September 6th, 2019 debut, that had a limited edition release that will have a DVD. Now, it looks like it did well enough in preorders that a second one was commissioned that will come with the 9th volume of the manga on December 6th, 2019. This DVD will have the uncensored versions of the 9th through 12th episodes of TV series and a 32-page booklet.
It’s directed by Hikaru Kaneko with Tear Studio handling the animation production. Kazuhiko Tamura worked on character designs.
Shizuka Ishigami as Hikari Hazakura, Nozomi Yamamoto as Takashi Takahashi, Kazutomi Yamamoto as Chizuru Tachibana, and Yūsuke Kobayashi as Kō Tanaka.
The manga from Soboru began in 2016 after having a series of one-shots prior to that. Five volumes are out as of the announcement.

Plot Concept: Ichiro Sato is about as average as a student can get? except for his above-average ability to land himself in totally awkward, intensely risque situations with his no-nonsense teacher, Kana Kojima! Ichiro has his hands full dealing with these steamy shenanigans and unexpected encounters in the most unlikely places. At least it can?t get any worse, right?
