Funimation brought out the fall 2018 anime series Zombieland Saga as a simuldub and they’ve recently set a January 7th, 2020 release date for it as a DVD/BD release. A limited-edition version is also coming that’s priced at $84.98 and they’ve now showcased the full spread for it below. The set comes with a 20-page soft-cover artbook with rainbow holographic cover, 3 holographic art cards, and a chibi magnet sheet – all in a holographic rigid chipboard box. Check it out below!
The series was directed by Munehisa Sakai based on the series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi, who also wrote most of the scripts. Kasumi Fukagawa handled the character designs while MAPPA oversaw the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Mamoru Miyano as Kōtarō Tatsumi, Kaede Hondo as Sakura Minamoto, Asami Tano as Saki Nikaidō, Risa Taneda as Ai Mizuno, Maki Kawase as Junko Konno, Rika Kinugawa as Yūgiri, and Minami Tanaka as Lily Hoshikawa.
With the English language dub, Jad Saxton is the ADR director for it with Tia Ballard as the assistant ADR Director working from scripts by Katelyn Barr. The English cast includes Brina Palencia as Sakura Minamoto, Ricco Fajardo as Kotaro Tatsumi, Caitlin Glass as Saki Nikaido, Amanda Lee as Junko Konno, Stephanie Young as Yugiri, Sarah Wiedenheft as Lily Hoshikawa, Bryn Apprill as Ai Mizuno, Dawn M. Bennett as Tae Yamada, Alejandro Saab as Romero, Cris George as Wig, and Mike McFarland as Hochu.
