The time is almost upon us where a 40th-anniversary box set will arrive for Dirty Pair and many of its longtime fans will realize just how long it’s been. VAP has scheduled a complete set for a December 18th, 2019 where the regular edition will be priced at 46,000 yen and the limited edition at 50,000 yen. After bringing out our first look at just the main box panels, we now have the full “sample” spread images for each set which are pretty damn expansive and appealing.
It looks like some new audio recording material is being included from the two lead actors while the limited edition release comes with a 100page booklet. It’ll come with a look at a lot of key visuals, the various home video release covers, interviews, and more.

Plot Concept: In the 22nd-century mankind may be technologically advanced, but there are still some problems that can only be fixed by a couple of women who don’t back down from a fight! These are the adventures of Kei and Yuri, two official Trouble Consultants for the World Welfare Works Association, who use their brains, brawn, and looks to solve any problem. They call themselves the “Lovely Angels,” but because their solutions often result in chaos and mass destruction, the rest of the universe has dubbed them the “Dirty Pair”!
