This episode was amazing! Noelle was the star of the show and she shone brilliantly. It has been so rewarding to see how much she's grown since the beginning of the series.

The episode begins with a flashback of the Silva siblings at their recently departed mother’s grave in the rain. They’re extremely upset and saddened that she’s gone. Perfectly understandable. Noelle is only a baby at the time. You’d think that her brothers and sister would shower her with love but we already know that they didn’t. Instead, she is ridiculed, harassed, and treated like crap. Solid is always picking on her and doing mean things to her such as destroying her valuables or throwing stuff at her for no reason. Man, what a douche. Nebra enjoys verbally abusing her sister and says such terrible things like she wishes Noelle wasn’t related to her. That’s horrible! Nozel, although not quite as mean as Noelle’s other siblings, isn’t much better as he continuously reminds her that she is a disgrace to the Silva family. Noelle had to deal with this abuse constantly for so many years that I’m surprised she didn’t break. We’re shown scenes of her crying throughout her childhood and honestly, it was heartbreaking to watch. Yeah, Noelle’s family sucks.

Back in the present, Noelle is trying to attack Kivn but her Absolute Atlas spell is making it impossible for her to land one. It’s taking Nozel everything he has just to block all of Kivn’s attacks. He’s nearing his limit. Solid is whining the whole time. I wish someone would punch him in the face. Anyways, they’re in quite the pickle. What can they do? Noelle knows that she can’t use her creation magic within this enclosed magical space. She realizes they’re trapped…and it’s then that she gets an ingenious idea. If Another Atlas traps everything inside, just fill it up with water! Thus, Noelle just does that and unleashes her rampaging spell that starts filling the enclosed magical space with water. Nozel protects everyone with his mercury magic and Kivn begins to drown. She has no choice but to undo the spell if she wants to live. The moment she does, Nozel immobilizes her with his magic.

Everyone is amazed at Noelle’s quick thinking. She thanks her brother Nozel for going along with her crazy plan. He acknowledges that her plan was indeed crazy and was not befitting of royalty. However, that reckless fighting style saved their lives. Nozel comments that Noelle looks just like their mother and he was scared that he’d lose her again. He never thought that she would become strong and that’s why he did everything he could to keep her off the battlefield. He was even willing to be mean in order to achieve that. But you know what? Noelle did become strong. That means Nozel was wrong and he admits it. He then apologizes to her. He’s even blushing! Is someone chopping onions around here? I feel like someone’s chopping onions. Cut it out! This was such an unexpectedly heartwarming scene and it caught me off guard. I guess Nozel is actually a doting big brother. Granted, he’s still a dick for being mean to Noelle all these years. At least he’s a caring dick. I’m sure there were better ways to protect her but I digress.

After that touching moment, it’d probably be a good idea to get everyone healed up. Easier said than done! Kivn seems to have escaped and proceeds to stab Nozel with a few compass needles. Ouchies. Kivn proclaims that her mad world will not end and makes her enclosed magical space even bigger. Things certainly aren’t looking good for the Silva siblings. Noelle is trying her best to figure out a way out of this. She refuses to give up. She remarks that she doesn’t have a single happy memory of her siblings but gosh darn it, they’re still her blood and she’s going to protect them no matter what! Her strong desire to protect her family allows her to unlock a powerful new spell in this situation, Water Creation Magic: Valkyrie Armor. As the name of the spell suggests, Noelle creates water armor for herself, complete with a water drill lance. The next thing you know, Kivn and Noelle are having an awesome aerial battle. Noelle is flying all over the place while Kivn is riding a compass needle like a surfboard. It’s actually way cooler than it sounds. Nozel looks up at Noelle and is reminded of his mother. She also had a similar creation spell and was often called the Dancing Princess of the Battlefield. Noelle is dodging all of Kivn’s attack and eventually counterattacks with her water drill lance. However, Kivn blocks it with a compass shield and activates her Willfull Compass spell. She plans to redirect Noelle’s attack. Unfortunately for her, Noelle’s armor takes control of the mana of everything it touches. Oh, snap! Noelle easily pierces through Kivn’s shield and defeats her. Way to go Noelle!

Okay, now that Kivn has been defeated for good, it’s finally time to get everyone healed! If only it were that simple. As soon as the battle is over, six reincarnated elves show up. Those bastards! They surround the siblings and one of them attacks them. Sadly for that guy, his spell bounces off a hidden trap and gets taken out by his own magic. Serves him right! The appearance of a trap spell can only mean one thing, that Zora is nearby and he reveals himself a few moments later. He brings along with him an attendant of the Silva family who begins to heal everyone. About time! Zora starts hounding the Silva siblings and remarks it’s pathetic how weak the royals are. He also adds that it’s sad that they couldn’t even protect their own family. This lights a fire in Nozel. He has a flashback about his mother when she was pregnant with Noelle. She’s so happy that Nozel is going to become a Magic Knight. Nozel strives to become a powerful Magic Knights squad captain, just like his mother. It’s revealed that all of the siblings but Nozel inherited their father’s water magic. On the other hand, he’s the only one that inherited his mother’s steel attribute. It’s clear that Nozel was very close to his mother and loved her very much. His mother hopes that he’ll use his magic to protect his siblings. I thought I told whoever is cutting onions to cut it out! Please stop! I can’t take it anymore.

With renewed determination, Nozel teams up with Noelle and they attack the reincarnated elves. At first, it seems like their attacks are missing. That isn’t the case though. It was never their intention to hit their opponents. Instead, they were aiming their attacks at Zora’s traps that are scattered around the enemy. Their attacks bounce off of Zora’s traps at double the power. Nice teamwork! Their enemies can only look up in horror at what’s about to befall them as the episode ends. That was awesome.

In Summary:
This episode was amazing! Noelle was the star of the show and she shone brilliantly. It has been so rewarding to see how much she’s grown since the beginning of the series. She had to deal with so many terrible things throughout her life. A lot of people in her position would have broken but she managed to persevere. The fact that she was willing to protect her siblings even though they never did a single nice thing for her just proves how strong she is. Noelle deserves all the hugs. It was also nice to understand why Nozel did the things he did. While I do think he went about things the wrong way, all he ever wanted to do was protect his sister and that’s just lovely. That blush though, am I right? Gah, so many feels! So many genuinely heartwarming moments this episode, it was great. It’s a shame that Solid and Nebra are still such a-holes though. I do hope they see the error of their ways and start respecting Noelle. If they don’t, well, I hope Noelle punches them in the face.
